This course is designed specifically for civil society organizations in Libya, where knowledge is required in one of the most important issues such as Democracy and gender equality, and this course provides a clear understanding of democracy, its meaning, and the most important democratic governance types in the world, also it defines the meaning of gender and the difference between gender and sex, and The principles of equality and non-discrimination, which are the fundamental pillars of human rights, it will also identify the types of discrimination and the types of equality and the ways in which they can be established as an entry point for social cohesion. The course will also address the issue of conflict sensitivity and marginalization and help the NGOs’ workers to start their work on a solid basis of knowledge
